Set Up Linksys Router for ADSL

Open a web browser (Internet Explorer) and in the address bar type in 192.168.1.1 and click on Go.

window will appear asking for a username and password. If you are
accessing your router for the first time or have no changed the username
or password the default settings are as follows: username should remain blank password: admin

The setup screen will be displayed. You must scroll down to find the
section labeled WAN Connection Type. Select Static IP from the drop down
box. Fill in the appropriate values for Specify Wan IP Address, Subnet
Mask, Default Gateway Address. These are numbers that were assigned to
you by Smarttnet. You must also fill in the DNS (required) field with
the following sets of numbers: 69.31.170.249 69.67.177.249

Once you have entered these values click the apply button and you will be finished.
